Jamming with tate
This was a documentary that I made for a non-profit event, Music2Heal, that raises awareness for suicide prevention. I conducted the interviews, operated the camera, captured B-Roll, and edited the film. This was a great film to work on project management in general, but also honing in on every step of the production process. There were a lot of hard conversations, but it was a humbling experience to be around others being so vulnerable about a traumatic experience.
Marion County Voting Video
Go out and vote!
This was an educational video for new or inexperienced voters that I helped create for the Marion County Clerk’s Office. I was the project manager on this video, so I had to meet with the client and get an idea of their visioning then come up for a plan for how to execute it. This was great experience for consistently communicating with a client to make sure we were on the same page through the whole process. I also acted as the videographer and director through shooting.
That guy joey
Uh oh! Game night wasn’t supposed to be like this!
This was my final short film I created for my digital cinema class. I was a part of the whole production process: scriptwriting, storyboarding, casting, location scouting, directing, camera operation, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, editing, and color grading. This was a great test for all my technical skills and bringing a concept to fruition!
Employee of the month
Everyone wants to be employee of the month, but do you have what it takes?
This was a short I created with my digital cinema class. I mostly worked as the videographer for this video, which was great practice in honing my skills. It forced me to think outside the box for different shots and how to make it as cinematic as possible with limited time.
Apple-ogies
Everything’s just peachy!
This was a short that I created with my digital cinema class. This differs from most of my other videos because I got to act in it! It was fun being on the other side of the camera, but I still helped brainstorm and write the story!
Wait…
Oh geez! A heist goes sideways!
This was a short film I created for a video class. The prompt was two characters and two locations: one indoor during the day and one outside at night. I wrote the script, directed, operated the camera, and edited it. It was a blast bringing it to life and working through every part of the production process.
